I am fucking pissed off . This low carb craze has gone too far and it is now time to do something about it. Now farmers are saying they are having to come out with a low carb potato. What the fuck? Does this mean that now all baked potatoes are going to be low carb? As far as I understand the baked potato industry is a homogenious market with almost perfect competition. That would fucking piss me off if now all baked potatoes are low carb. Anyone know anything about this? |

Carbs in the standard potato have a shitty GI index anyway, unless you add some fat (butter or whatever).
I believe in low carb, otherwise you overfill glycogen stores and just store it as fat.

Some low carb products are actually pretty useful. I found a low carb cereal at BJ's Wholesale that has about 6g carbs and 13g protein per serving. Not too bad for a bulk or cut. Just gotta watch not too have too much, its cereal so you can't forget that it is processed.

It's like the new reduced carb coca-cola. Probably one of coke's brightest move in years -- screw diet coke, and screw regular coke, just mix them half-and half and we'll re-package it and sell it to all these adkins mofo's, they'll eat it up, heh.
